Exploratory Practice-Moodboard

In the upper left corner is an artistic work that inspires me. These artworks exchange the identities of humans and animals to advocate for environmental protection. I believe this approach aims to evoke empathy in people and make them think about the situation of animals. This technique gave me inspiration. I thought I could strengthen the connection between humans and animals by having them both emerge from the same plant, and perhaps this could make the audience empathize with them.

The lower left corner shows the growth cycle of dandelions. The plant that came to my mind was dandelions, because they spread their seeds by wind and the seeds would go to various places. This characteristic of theirs strikes me as similar to the way humans and animals are scattered all over the world. Humans and animals share a mother called nature, but they are distributed all over the world.

On the right is the artistic style I plan to adopt. I want to create a story with a touch of fairy tale elements. I think this style of colored pencil and watercolor painting is very suitable.
